Our clients had inherited a dated, dark and cluttered kitchen that was in need of modernisation. With an open mind and a blank canvas, we were able to achieve this Scandinavian inspired masterpiece.
A light cobalt blue features on the island unit and tall doors, whilst the white walls and ceiling give an exceptionally airy feel without being too clinical, in part thanks to the exposed timber lintels and roof trusses.
Having been instructed to renovate the dining area and living room too, we've been able to create a place of rest and relaxation, turning old country clutter into new Scandinavian simplicity.
KEY PROJECT DETAILS:
- Internal renovation of the kitchen, dining room, living room and hallway.
- Handmade, bespoke Stephen Graver kitchen.
- New electrics and plumbing.
- Granite worktops.
- Flooring throughout.
- Appliances from Siemens and Caple.
- Decorated throughout.
- As part of a separate project, the clients also employed us to do the main bathroom and master en-suite.
We were really impressed by the way in which Stephen and the whole team discussed the project with us, from inception to completion. We felt fully involved all the way through, and that there was always enough time to work out the details and make careful, well considered decisions. This was a big project for us, so this really mattered.
Everyone seemed to have a really good grasp of what we were trying to achieve, but also challenged us to think about different approaches and options. The team was exceptional – professional, interested in what they were doing, and proud of their work. Their craftsmanship was excellent.
We are so pleased with the results. Our house has been transformed into the light, airy home we imagined. Re-configuring the rooms has made such a difference, and the finish and attention has turned them into beautiful spaces. We’d definitely work with Stephen again.
