Meadow Pool House

With a completely new swimming pool under construction, our clients commissioned us to design and make a bespoke pool house with ample storage and a small but functional kitchen area.
From the off, the challenge was the limited area on the terrace. So, we designed and installed a fully supportive block and beam floor built on a steel framework thus allowing the pool room to finish level with the new paved area but to not encroach on the space around the pool.
Our existing client wanted to liven up his outdoor space even more, and that meant the existing concrete paving slabs had to go. Contemporary and user friendly were our goals, so 1200 X 600 Italian porcelain slabs were selected for their clean-cut look and non-slip finish. New foundations were laid and levelled ready for the slabs which were to wrap around the house creating a continuous loop.
