Design and Build

Garden rooms, extensions and alterations are all within the scope of our small team of craftsmen.  From replacing an elderly brick wall to building a sweeping staircase, every job is handled in its own way – the best way.  Happy to take on a challenge, we can handle a project from planning.

An oak garden room, which is an extension to a kitchen, and a useful dining area.  Hand made in the workshop and built by our craftsmen on site

A contemporary staircase, made of glass with wooden knewel posts, giving a light and airy feel and opening out the space on the landing.

The inside of a delightful extension, which brings the garden closer to the house.  A room which can be used year round in complete comfort.

Double doors open wide on a sunny day to connect the patio with the living room.  A small extension that can transform your living space.

The newer stonework at the front of the building supports a swimming pool.  This new stone wall replaces ugly metal pillars and provides the perfect backdrop to the elegant gardens below.

The renovation work on this swimming pool, included all the tilework and surrounding patio area.  From derelict to superb in one summer.

Views like this need showing – the new extension on this house in Bath allowed it to be seen.  The glass balcony screens mean an uninterrupted vista.

A dining room, which is an addition to the kitchen – built in oak with a tiled roof, it looks as though it has always been there.

A spiral staircase with a difference.  Built round one pillar the sweeping plaster curls round the wooden treads of the stair.  Pleasing on the eye.

A bungalow built in old farm buildings close to the main farmhouse.  Complete renovation with the addition of a rain harvesting tank, and a new heating system based on heat exchange from the air.  A modern and light living space.
